Anxiety

If you have constant feelings of dread, fear, or uneasiness; experience restlessness or worrying about what’s to come, it could very well be anxiety. While this is a normal reaction to stress it’s certainly something you don’t have to live with. I can help you find ways to ease and cope with whatever is causing your stress and anxiety.

Trauma

Whether it’s related to your activism and leadership or tied to unhealed experiences you had as a child or youth, trauma can linger for a lifetime and make it difficult to go about your day-to-day life. I will help you uncover and take control of upsetting thoughts and memories, decrease their disturbance, and move toward healing resolutions.

Grief

Grief is a completely natural reaction to loss. It’s not only tied to the death of a loved one but loss and grief can also be related to a lifestyle change, losing a job, a partner, income or housing instability, and so much more. There are different types and stages of grief and I will meet you where you are to help you through it.

Feel more confident and capable when navigating difficult times and processing painful memories.

Hi, I’m Linda.

As a bilingual, Chicana, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) I understand the pressures associated with simply showing up sometimes.

Not only can it be challenging to find and confidently own our unique voices, needs, and desires in this wild world, but many of us are taking action to stand up for others who are struggling as well. It can be a lot.

This is why I’m incredibly passionate about supporting community leaders, fellow activists, and the Latinx community.

Together we’ll explore different strategies for addressing and managing the struggles you’re experiencing, embrace body awareness, and find an approach that fits you

As we work together you’ll learn to

  • Better understand your feelings, both physically and emotionally

  • Connect with yourself on a deeper level

  • Feel safer within your own body

  • Process uncomfortable thoughts

  • Give yourself permission to live the life you want

  • Have rock-solid body awareness and coping strategies

  • Do things in a different, healthier way

  • Live with more confidence and joy

  • Maintain healthier relationships

  • Validate and communicate your feelings with confidence
